[ Merry Christmas! Or late Christmas, because Dustin pretty much slept through it. After a rather jarringly loud fist-pounding knock on Georgia’s door, she’ll find a stocking left on the ground. If she's quick enough to answer she can probably recognize curls and a favourite hat turning the corner. The stocking is jammed full of things, including:
1. Air Heads (assorted flavours, but more watermelon because those are the best) 2. A small container with only banana flavoured runts 3. Gummy bears (sour and regular) 4. Bubble tape 5. Caramello 6. Nilla wafers 7. Chupa chups 8. Cow tales 9. Gummy cola 10. Nerds 11. Skittles 12. Sour patch kids 13. Fun Dip 14. Pop Rocks
[ While Buffy hasn't exactly been avoiding George and Shaun she also hasn't been super social. She's spent a lot of time in her room getting it set up to a security level she's comfortable with as well as working on some projects. Projects that will hopefully be pleasing. ]
Do you have some time? I noticed you were traveling light so I made you a few cameras and bugs. [ A pause. ] ...Okay I made a lot of them. Magic closets are dangerous. I have some for Shaun, too.
[George hasn't exactly been avoiding Buffy either, but... it is complicated, no less so with the dreams that have been tormenting her even now that the event's over. She's mad at Buffy for betraying them but also mad at herself for getting Buffy killed. George was supposed to protect them. All of them. And she couldn't even protect herself.
As much as she's tried to insist things can't go back to how they were, that everything's changed, it's all too easy to fall into old habits as she responds.]
It's the unlimited budget you always dreamed of. What'd you make?
[Well, this is interesting. The handwriting isn't Shaun's or hers, which pretty much covers the handwriting she's sure she could recognize on sight. She doesn't think it's Buffy's either.
She tugs out a marker, and very carefully replies, writing backwards so the mirror can read it easily.]
That's correct. Did you also hear I don't like people using pet names for me?
( clementine knows georgia and iris haven't really talked since the... mirror thing that happened. she wasn't privy to their private conversation. iris didn't tell her any details, but honestly, she didn't have to. the article went up while iris' friend who later turned up, broken and messed up, was kidnapped. it was only after she read the article that she stumbled on iris, finding her taking care of someone new after she'd spent the days, taking care of barry with his broken back.
she knows iris well enough to know she would have said something. she deserved to say something given how directly someone she loved could have been affected, and she hasn't seen iris go to the after the end times since it all happened.
so desperate times call for desperate measures. she loves them both a lot, and after talking to georgia individually, she trusts georgia too to be aware, to talk it out. she knows it must be hard on them even if they don't talk about losing that friendship. it's why she comes up with a plan and sends them both a text message separately... and totally innocently.
hey i wanted to talk to you. can you meet me in the tea room at 3?
in fact, she's not sure that she could ever deny her in any way, shape, or form. that said -- at least as far as she knows -- clementine doesn't drink tea, but that doesn't make the tea room any less of a good spot to reconvene, if it's a private matter the younger girl wants to discuss.
unlike the flash, iris west tends to be punctual. so she's there at three on the dot, but that sure isn't clementine. ) Oh! ... Hi.
( clementine put in the effort to get iris and georgia to talk again, to make it up to each other, because she knew they both wanted it. because they're both important to her, and it was hard to see them at odds like that. now though- now iris is gone. she's waited for her. she's looked in her room. her stuff is gone too, and maybe iris will come back in a month like last time, but chances are slim.
and it's hard.
it's hard as fuck.
clementine should be used to it by now, losing people, losing friends, losing family but it still stings like hell even knowing iris is going some place that's likely better than here. she knows georgia cared about her too, and it's why she shows up a few days into check on her.
to see how she's doing. she steps into the office a few days after iris is- is gone. )
[Georgia is doing completely fine, at least, as far as she ever is. She even gives the slimmest hint of a smile when Clementine comes in, nodding her towards a seat as her fingers fly across her keyboard as she finishes up her sentence.]
Clementine. [She shuts her laptop, turning to face her, then frowns a little. She's very good at reading people, but she doesn't have to be to catch Clementine's mood.] What's wrong?
Hey Georgia, it's Chloe. I had a talk with the creepy cat and I don't know if this is something that you're aware of, or something that even makes sense to you, but I told you I'd keep you updated so here you go.
[Outside George's door, there will be a cardboard box, wrapped in festive wrapping paper. If she unwraps the box and looks inside, she will see several boxes of the following:]
[ A journal for all her writing needs. It looks like leather, but it's made out of some kind of indestructible material so only Georgia can open it with a key, keeping it away from prying eyes. The note accompanying it reads: For all the thoughts you aren't ready to talk about. - Chloe ]
I know you gave me the Wonderland 101 Starter Pack, but it's kind of A Lot to keep up with.
Anyway, I was talking to someone on that post I made and they got going on this whole idea about Wonderland being semi-sentient and needing people to survive.
Care to detail me more on this theory?
[She's still very much in a category of not being sure what to do with herself, but this is something to chase and maybe she needs that more than she needs the actual answers she's asking for.]
The most solid piece of evidence comes from an event that happened shortly before I arrived here. It was a party of sorts, except instead of just us and the Mirrors, it also involved people pulled in from all sorts of worlds, but only for the week, then they left.
There were also puzzles, and one led to a music box that played a message.
[Shortly after his conversation with Mirror Clem, Louis decides the best course of action is to find someone who knows some shit about the Mirror Side for help. He wants to go to Michonne, but she's gone and that loss does not help his state of growing panic at all.
Then he remembers George writes about the Mirrors, she's got her ear on every goddamn door. If anyone knows anything about anything, it's going to be George. So she's going to get a panicked call from an increasingly distressed teenager. Best way to start the day. ]
George? George, some really weird shit is going down. Clem's Mirror is on this side, as in the Real Side, and apparently that means our Clem is on the Mirror Side and she's fucking stuck there and I don't know how to get her back. I mean, she hasn't even got her crutches, I checked! They're right in her room!
[He's not freaking out, YOU'RE freaking out. He's just not stopping for breath, is all. It's fine.]
Her Mirror said that it wasn't safe over there and that's why she's here and you know, I'm totally for keeping the Mirrors safe, they're people too and everything, but I also really don't want my girlfriend in a potential deathtrap while some weirdo with her face wanders around being kind of an asshole. How do I even start fixing this?

Breathe. The first thing you do is breathe and keep breathing because you're no use to Clementine if you pass out from lack of oxygen, understood?
[She understands the panic, and she knows he wants to rush, but better to take that moment before doing something rash.]
Then come up to my office. We'll talk there.
